* Great Britain and Germany:
If the difference between dimensional and actual weight of parcels exceeds 15 kilograms, the payment will be calculated based on the highest weight indicator.
For example:
1. The actual(physical) weight of the parcel is 3 kg and the dimensional weight is 35 kg. In this case, the shipping amount will be calculated based on the dimensional weight.
2. The actual(physical) weight of the parcel is 20 kg and the dimensional weight is 4 kg. In this case, the shipping amount will be calculated on the actual(physical) weight.
* starting from May 1st, 2023, the volumetric weight for the Camex warehouse in the USA will be calculated as follows: If the volumetric weight of the cargo exceeds 10 kg, the amount of delivery is determined by comparing the physical and volumetric weights of the parcel and is calculated by the largest of them. If the volumetric weight of the cargo does not pass 10 kg, the delivery fee will be calculated in physical weight. The volumetric weight of the parcel is calculated using the following formula: Length (cm) × Width (cm) × Height (cm) /6000 = Volume weight (kg)
According to metric standards of the International Air Transport Association, transported parcels are measured in two ways:
1) Physical weight;
2) Volume weight.
If the dimensions of package are large (in an airplane take up more space), at first counted two weight indicator and then the highest rate is taken as the basis for calculating the shipping price.
As a general rule, the volumetric weight is calculated as follows:
(Length (cm) * Width (cm) * Height (cm)) / 6000 = volume weight (in kg)
Delivery time is indicated with the delivery of the day to the sender of the «Camex» warehouse in the US, Germany, Greece, Turkey, China and UK.
